The Areia is an all-round awning thanks to its superior technology and attractive visual design. Construction details are elegantly designed and part of the design concept, from the fabric and arm bearing to the folding arms. The profile is kept narrow and the materials used are extremely stable. The model can be coupled on request, can be turned into an atmospheric "lighting fixture" with LEDs and can be efficiently protected from view with a Varioplus roller blind.

The concealed Dyneema® tension band transmits the spring force to the folding arm and awning cover by means of noise-damped special springs:The Dyneema® fibre is very durable and has a high resistance to abrasion, moisture, UV rays and chemicals. Thus the Dyneema® fibre is by mass:
- 15 times stronger than steel- 60% stronger than carbon and glass fibre- 5 times more tensile than polyamide and polyester fibres
