Interior blinds enable convenient control and regulation of the daylight entering the room. As functional elements of room design, they create individual living comfort and help to optimally regulate the room temperature. The narrowest slats with 16 mm are particularly suitable for windows with narrow glazing beads. This shading solution is preferably used in private areas such as bathrooms or kitchens. There are usually smaller window openings and the narrow slats create a harmonious overall visual impression. In the contract sector, the use is particularly recommended in sanitary rooms, canteens or offices with smaller window fronts.
The medium slat thickness of 25 mm is ideal for private use in living spaces where window fronts are usually more generously dimensioned. Especially for medium-sized window installations, the wide slats lend an appealing look. Room-high windows or panorama windows can be perfectly shaded in this way. Use in the commercial sector is particularly recommended in offices or sales rooms with small display window areas.
For window installations with a particularly large format, we recommend a blind with a width of 35 mm per individual slat. The number of slats is reduced accordingly and blends harmoniously into the overall appearance. Even window fronts up to a height of 3.50 metres and a width of 3.00 metres can be shaded effortlessly and stylishly in this way; due to the dimensions, a motor or crank operation facilitates operation here. In addition to the shading of objects in the private sector, window fronts of shops or commercial units can also be equipped with a blind.
The large-area slats are rarely used in the private sector, their strengths and advantages lie primarily in the commercial sector. Very large shop window areas, office buildings with large floor-to-ceiling windows or production rooms benefit from the wide flat slats, which require little room volume when retracted and therefore blend discreetly into the overall picture. The light control of the large slats allows the room to be illuminated in a targeted manner and saves energy, making artificial light sources superfluous.
