Textile membrane with vinyl coating

Precontraint 502 Satin:

The PVC-coated polyester with. 1100 Dtex/ 570 g/m2 is characterised by a particularly high tear resistance and retains its stability, durability, dirt repellency and colour stability even under high UV or wind exposure due to possible sandstorms. A sun protection factor of UPF 50+ reliably protects both the people underneath and corresponding furniture such as table groups and loungers from the effects of the subtropical climate. The covering has a self-cleaning function in the event of increased dirt exposure due to sand, dust or car exhaust fumes and is flame-retardant (DIN 4102-B1). Choose from over 40 modern designs, which you can even have individually printed using the latest printing processes.

Serge Ferrari Precontraint® coating:

The worldwide patented Précontraint technology is characterised by the highest form and surface stability, high resistance and extreme durability. As a waterproof PVC coating, it gives the textile backing maximum durability.

Parasol framework

Magnum has a central mast through which the weight of the parasol is evenly distributed and cushioned. The pole is made of bar-pressed, internally reinforced and profiled aluminium and, with a diameter of 220 mm and a wall thickness of 10 mm, is extremely stable and resilient. The post-baked PES powder coating is impact and scratch resistant and is available in the standard colour traffic white I RAL 9016 or in all other colours according to the RAL colour chart. The installed plastic elements are available in classic white or black. A cylinder lock integrated into the motor cover and the crank insert reliably prevents unauthorised access.

Spokes, supports, bearings and joints

Special attention must be paid to the support and connection components of an umbrella, as these are decisive for quality and stability. The bolts, screws and other functional parts used here are made of particularly robust and durable V21 stainless steel. All elements made of aluminium are pickled, powder-coated and post-baked at 190°C. The spoke elements can be removed and replaced individually and have a hollow seam groove for the use of piping-guided membranes.

Handling

Up to a diameter of 10 m (round) or 9.3 x 9.3 m (square), the models are opened and closed by means of a hand crank via a reduction gear. All other sizes are usually electrically driven, but also have a hand crank. If you wish, you can also equip the smaller models with a motor and completely dispense with the need to use your own hand crank.

Ground anchorage | Foundation component

To ensure the stability of the large umbrella, a foundation component is first sunk into the ground and concreted in accordingly - the dimensions are 83 × 83 × 100 cm or 100 × 100 × 120 cm, the weight between 130 and 240kg depending on the model. The necessary static measures should already be taken into account in the planning phase. The parasol pole is then firmly anchored to the support plate above the foundation component with the support foot. If the parasol is not currently needed, a plate made in aluminium tear sheet serves as a protective cover. The component is also used for parasols with motorized and heatable equipment.
