A collaboration between Unosider and the internationally renowned designer Nicolas Thomkins has resulted in the ultra-modern Gate Shade folding arm awning. The slim yet fashionable design of the frame is equipped with two electrically extendable sun sails. The awnings can be conveniently controlled by remote control. When extended, the awning provides shade over an area of approx. 30 square metres. If desired, a music system and/or LED strips can be integrated into the Gate Shade awning. With the Gate Shade, Nicolas Thomkins has created a free-standing awning with an aesthetically perfect effect. Whether closed or extended, every detail is perfectly coordinated. All components have been perfectly integrated into the construction frame or into the two extendable sun canopies, resulting in a harmonious overall architecture. On request, the colour design of the canopy can be realised individually.

The load-bearing construction is made of hot-dip galvanised steel and the stainless steel cladding is made of galvanised, bent aluminium, which has been bent and cut into shape by laser. This processing technique ensures a particularly clean and gap-free edge finish. The lacquer finish consists of a polyester base powder-coated with epoxy resin and can be ordered in various modern color variants.
Optionally, LED lighting elements can be integrated on the left and right of the pillars and ceiling of the arch, which create an atmospheric ambience with their indirect illumination.
