As its name suggests, the Kolibrie sail umbrella from KE is a graceful yet functional shading element. Unobtrusive yet effective, Kolibrie can be integrated into almost any existing ambience as well as into any furnishing and offers the ideal solution for individual shading thanks to its well thought-out functionality that concentrates on the essentials. The materials used are inspired by the climatic conditions of the coastal regions and are perfectly suited to withstand all weather conditions.

A nautical high-end Dacron fabric is used for the sailcloth, which has a special weather and wear resistance due to the surface sealing of the braided fibre. In the standard version, the membrane is supplied in white, the versions in sand and burgundy are optionally available.
The basic version can be operated with a manual rotary crank. A motorised version is available on request, which can be conveniently controlled by radio hand-held transmitter. The motorised version also has an anemometer which automatically closes the sails safely in strong winds. Regardless of whether manual or electronic operation is used, in both solutions the operating technology is integrated into the construction so that it is almost invisible to the guest, thus maintaining the simple and graceful overall appearance.
